Most businesses forward calls only when nobody answers, so the app takes just the calls you'd miss.
In the app, find the number your calls forward to, and choose when it answers: after hours, when nobody picks up, or every call.
Turn on forwarding with your phone provider. Search their help pages for conditional call forwarding, or forward when busy or no answer.
Then call your number from another phone, let it ring, and check the app picks up. Try it during hours and after.
